Problems

Repeated nights
Staring up at the same
Cracked ceiling
With a shadow of a doubt
Sleeping next to me

Stolen words
Scribbled on the dirty walls
As the room fills with smoke
Each wisp a different story
Of a different night

Red blossoms cover my neck
Running down to my chest
Drooping from long nights
And the stress
Of stolen fantasies

Life of repetition
For some cheap thrills
And a few dollars
For the next injection
Of melted honey.

Shaking hands
Chipped paint on nails
Just like the walls
Forever closing in
While legs spread a little wider

A gentle lullaby from a time past
Lulls me to sleep
With dreams of success floating around
In a head so empty
Yet filled with lies.

One last shot
Of the hypodermic ecstasy
Before I sleep
Falling forever into dreams
That will never come true.

Another night in Tokyo
Another finale of a girl
With so much potential
And not enough will
To pull through.

This is the lullaby
Of departed dreams
And failures turned to success
For dreams always come true
No matter how they come to be...

The lullaby of the call girl
Drenched with deception
And coated in melted honey injections
With the occasional drop
Of dreams yet to be.

The lullaby of the call girl
The never-ending vicious cycle
Of selling ones self
To make a meager earning
To scrap by on floating dreams

The lullaby of the call girl
Never-ending
Full of wonder
Impossibility
And more hope than one could imagine.

Hope leads to nothing
Knowing leads to everything
Dreams fueled on hope dwindle and
Fade away
Like euphoric dreams...

The lullaby of hopeless dreamers
The lullaby of all
Since we are all
Too hopeful at one point
Running blindly to our own demise

Hopeless hopers
Dreamless dreamers
We are all
Following the lullaby of the call girl.

Nothing kept hidden...
