Another dead
Another gone
Not a single thought
Just another normal day
I don't agree
But I will admire
Those who can fight
For another's plight
I scoff this world
I grew up in
Yet I still admire
The unyielding courage
Tears run free
Not scared for just one
But scared for all
Unsure if they will see the next rising sun
While I do not support
Nor do I believe
I still weep
Thinking of the life long gone
Unnecessary death
Unnecessary mourning
Of brothers and sisters
Of lovers and misters
Grieving families
Left behind with just
A simple 'We're sorry'
Filled with no emotion
How many more coffins
How many more causalities?
For in my eyes,
A pointless goal.
Home away from home
Is not a home at all
Home is where the heart is
And I can tell you
There is no heart in war
There is no love
There is no home
Home is where the heart is
